Painful bunions and hammertoes can make walking and normal day activities difficult. These conditions are typically treated with surgery to correct the deformity and improve mobility.

This is a painful irritation and enlargement of a sensory nerve between the bones in your foot. Sharp shooting pain with tingling can best describe the symptoms with typically a cortisone injection resolving the problem. On the rare occasion, the enlarged irritated nerve requires surgical excision.
